Bunkering

Fuel Oil

Intermediate Fuel Oil (IFO), commonly referred to as HFO in a general context, serves as the primary marine fuel used to power ship propellers within the shipping industry. These fuels are categorized and named based on their viscosity, with the most frequently utilized varieties being IFO 180 and IFO 380. All these fuels adhere to ISO 8217: 2010 specifications and Marpol Annex IV regulations. IFO is further divided into several subgrades determined by its viscosity and ignition characteristics. Among these, the most widely employed and readily accessible globally include:

1. IFO 380 CST – The most prevalent and readily obtainable type of Fuel Oil is IFO 380 CST, characterized by a maximum viscosity of 380 centistokes.

2. IFO 180 CST – Mainly utilized by older vessels for combustion and propulsion purposes, IFO 180 CST possesses a maximum viscosity of 180 centistokes.

Marine Gas Oil

Marine Gas Oil, often abbreviated as MGO, is a common term in the maritime industry. It typically comprises a mixture of different distillates and shares similarities with diesel fuel but boasts a greater density. The fundamental criteria for marine fuels are outlined in the ISO 8217 standard. Marine gasoil quality grades, namely DMX, DMA, DMB, and DMZ, as per the ISO 8217 “Petroleum Products – Fuel (class F)” designation, are frequently used to refer to this type of fuel.

Diesel Trading

Our primary product is Diesel Gas Oil, which boasts an exceptionally low sulfur content, not exceeding a maximum of 0.001% (10 PPM). This fuel adheres rigorously to the UAE.S.477:2013 ECAS standards established by the Emirates Authority of Standardization and Metrology. Thanks to its minimal sulfur content, it guarantees peak performance, reduced emissions, and full compliance with environmental regulations.
